δ Delta – Product information

The Delta range of indirect fired Heat Exchange Modules has been developed for inclusion within Air Handling Units, for both new applications and also for replacement and refurbishment applications. All units within the Delta range can be specified to run on oil, natural gas, or liquid petroleum gas, and are fitted with fully matched burners offering a variety of controls from fully modulating to on/off.

The range consists of 22 models with heating loads from 125kW to 1000kW, and covers the range of air volumes from 2 m³/s to 40 m³/s. The design of each Delta is sufficiently flexible to allow for their use in a wide variety of applications covering both environmental warm air and process heating.

Each unit features a fully welded stainless steel combustion chamber and heat exchanger, offering maximum surface area and excellent linear attachment of air, so as to provide a highly efficient heat source. Burners are matched to the properties and performance of the combustion chamber and heat exchanger, and contain all the necessary controls and safety interlocks. Each combustion chamber and heat exchanger is covered by a 5 year sliding scale warranty.

All Delta units are front plate mounted, and are designed to be easily installed within the air handling unit so that the front plate forms a panel within the air handling unit itself. The dimensions of the front plate can be specified to suit the application, and the front plate can also be of a weatherproof design to suit external applications.

We are able to offer an installation service where the air handling unit section is supplied by the customer for us to install the Delta unit. We also offer this service for the on-site refurbishment of existing air handling units. Both facets are supported by our ability to also provide on site commissioning and servicing.

It should be appreciated that each application will have unique features, and it therefore follows that the heat exchange module required should deliver reliable performance to match these requirements as closely as possible. The design of the Delta range is sufficiently flexible to do this, a unique feature of the Delta design is the ability to match the tube length and heat exchanger surface area to the requirements of the application.

Details of the Delta range are outlined on the data sheet, for further information, or to discuss specific applications please use the contact us facility.
